A steep 800' non-technical climb up Hotauta Canyon -- a very remote area of the Grand Canyon. It was the 4th day of a 12 day trip. From this point it was 8 days of difficult hiking and climbing from there to the nearest place that could be called civilization. There were 3 of us and we saw no one else until the middle of the 8th day. October 2004.
